From Reunion Island to Jiangxi: French artist finds home in China's "porcelain capital"

Known as China's "porcelain capital," Jingdezhen in east China's Jiangxi Province has long been a magnet for ceramic artists from around the globe. Among them is French artist Yann Colleu. Moving from the volcanic island of French Reunion, he settled down in a quiet village near Jingdezhen Ceramic University with his wife and child. The couple's works blend oceanic textures and Chinese painting, while their days are filled with the down-to-earth Chinese living style.
